The moment in the passage that makes it most clear that the hero type is epic is when Odysseus says on page 1 "Though you should give me all that you have in the world both now and all that you ever shall have, I will not stay my hand till I have paid all of you in full. you must fight, or fly for your lives; and fly, not a man you shall."

The climax of the story is when on pages 1-4 Odysseus returns home and kills all the suitors for harassing his wife and feasting on his livestock one quote that helps the massacre happen is when Odysseus says "Though you should give me all that you have in the world both now and all that you ever shall have, I will not stay my hand till I have paid all of you in full. you must fight, or fly for your lives; and fly, not a man you shall." after this is said, Odysseus and the suitors battle. The quote is so significant because it helps the reader understand how disrespected Odysseus felt by what the suitors were doing

The moment the resolution happens is on page 6 when Odysseus tells his wife about their bed and how it was built the quote that ecompasses the resolution the most is when Odysseus says " so you see I know all about it, and I desire to learn whether it is still there, or whether any one has been removing it by cutting down the olive tree at its roots." I feel that this quote helps the audience understand how many people tried to steal Odysseus wife.
