It gives many ideas for what to do for a quick brain break, like standing up and blinking while squeezing your hand. This article also provides ideas for longer brain breaks like having students take something out of a bag and draw a picture coming up with a use for it. I learned easy brain breaks that students only need to stand by their desks for.

The woman talks about things she does in her classroom like assigning students areas to stand in, assigning a DJ for the day, and having a child take a break if they are going wild. There are also videos attached that are dancing videos you can use in a classroom. I learned that brain breaks get easier when you have a routine set in place. Students learn what to expect and it will get easier to incorporate.

It shows a students brain that has brain breaks during reading and a student that does not. The student that has brain breaks is much more involved and has a more active brain. I learned that productivity is much higher when students have brain breaks in between activities rather than going activity to activity without brain breaks.
