The first president came and he was a farmer named George. He was a great general I think and he saved the lives of many people. Only the west coast was populated and the rest was discovered. Once the country was found the south wanted to keep the slaves and the north to get rid of history. That sparked the civil war and at the time Abraham Lincoln was the president. The railroad was developing. The government was wanted to have not to much power so it was divided into three different branches.
