When someone begins to support extreme views, and sometimes, takes part in terrorist groups or acts.

For example, a 12 year old boy named Abdu, was struggling once his grandma passed away, he was being bullied at school, and he didn't get on with his brother, he was put in a vulnerable position. The Channel panel adopted the case and offered him support, they held monthly sessions to check up on him, the interventions made Abdu feel less isolated and alone. He claims that the Channel panel saved Abdu "just in time"

It is the use of violence and intimidation against innocent people to express their political or religious views. The UN definition of terrorism involves intimidation and coercion of people or governments by threats and violence, leading to death, hostage situations, or serious harm.

For example, In 2021, there was a bombing at Liverpool’s women’s hospital. A taxi exploded from the inside when it was arriving outside of the main entrance of the hospital on the 14th November at 10:59am. The taxi driver made it out safely, but the attacker had a bomb on him as the taxi’s passenger, who died. The passenger’s intentions were unknown at first, but then it was theorized that he was heading to the Cathedral down the road, as well as it being on Remembrance Sunday where there were thousands of people gathered, following the one minute silence at 11am.

For future developments, there should be more security around on Remembrance Sunday to be able to check if there are terrorist attacks and reporting anyone who looks suspicious when around and near the cenotaph.

https://www.liverpoolwomens.nhs.uk/news/liverpool-women-s-terrorist-attack-one-year-on/

Mutual respect is the act of respecting other people’s beliefs even when they differ from your own and showing respect to other people’s culture and customs.

For instance, Alexander Blackman was imprisoned after shooting a member of the taliban who was unarmed. However, the person he shot was injured and not killed and Blackman failed to get him medical attention causing him to die due to his injuries which is a war crime as it goes against the rules of war which state you must give everyone medical attention if it is required as the purpose of war is not just to kill everyone, it is to fight for justice.

A future development to encourage mutual respect further would be to enforce learning about other peoples cultures in schools so people are more educated and can understand other cultures better.

Tolerance can be in the individual, community, group or state.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41648865

This shows that people in the uk don't have tolerance as there where loads of hate crimes against people from different backgrounds.

Individual liberty is everyone having their right to personal freedom and allowing you to make your own decisions and do what you want as long as it doesn’t interfere with someone else’s freedoms or break the rules of laws.
For Example, Tommy Robinson was arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced on May 25th, 2018 for “breaching the peace” by livestreaming outside the Leeds Crown Court, where a trial was being taken place where 2 muslim women and 27 muslim men were alleged to have raped, drugged, trafficked, and sexually exploited more than 100 girls as young as eleven years old.

Robinsons trial was unfairly judged and based on the racism in the Maycomb, under Article 6 of the Human Right Act you have the right to a fair and public trial or hearing and under Article 5 it states that you have a right to your personal freedom. This means you must not be imprisoned or detained without good reason.
