The D.A.C.A program was initiated in august 1st 2001 by Dick Durbin, there are currently over 700,000 dreamers in america. but our (not mine) president Donald Trump wants to shutdown the program because he thinks they don't deserve to enter our country. and has already deported over 2 million since he has been in office.  My opinion: I in all honesty think Donald Trump should be impeached and replaced because they sneak in our country for a better life and to work to be happy. But he wouldn't understand be cause he was raised in wealth and is still in wealth. But really live up to our pledge and anthem. And also calling the Mexican people rapists and drug struggling drugs? not cool. not everybody is a rapist and they don't want to sell drugs but with you building a wall they can't get work in the U.S so they do things bad to put food on the table for their family. Americans also do this. whites,blacks, all races. so this wall you talk about won't happen. and thats just me talking.

  • The central idea of the article is that the Dreamers want to stay in the united states but are scared that the new president will deport them and how DACA is trying to help them. Even though many Dreamers are still scared Trump says that Dreamers can ¨Rest easy.¨ because they are not targets for deportation under his immigration policies. Dreamers still think that Trump will deport them though, because of his consistent sayings during his run for president that he will build a border wall. DACA is trying to help the immigrants by protecting the younger immigrants under the age of 16 by protecting them from being deported.  
    • 2: The dreamers are people that are from other countries that have immigrated here but are illegal most of the time. They came here because they hope that life will be better here in America and will have more chances of getting a job.
