How To Create a Morning Routine

I chose this video because I have struggled to create a solid morning routine in the past. I think that this video will be beneficial to me in creating a morning routine that helps me thrive. The video talks about how you should first try to get up earlier than you usually do, a way to help with this is to never hit the snooze button. Next the video talks about the importance of small steps, apparently "a habit can take on average 66 days to fully crystallize and become concrete" this demonstrates the importance of realizing small goals. The structure of the routine itself can vary, however all that matters is that it works for you. The final thing he mentions is the importance of an evening routine, an unorganized evening routine can lead to a derailment of your morning routine. I found this video very helpful for building a strong routine.

How to Stop Wasting Time on the Internet

I chose this video because I can get distracted very easily when trying to do work on my computer. I found the material in this video very helpful for improving my productivity. For example website and application blockers can be very helpful in limiting access to distractions. Using alternate devices is another option that I personally use, when I feel distracted I try to switch to my school computer which has less distracting features on it. I thought the advice in this video was quite solid and already use some of it in my daily life. However I feel like some of the website blockers do go a bit overboard.

How to Stop Being Constantly Overwhelmed

The reason I picked this video is because I often can get overwhelmed with work and don't know how to remedy it. However I very much like the tips incorporated in this video. I really like the idea of a reset sprint, I unintentionally did one of these recently when I was forced to take a step back and revaluate some of my personal circumstances and found that it helped me immensely. Starting small also helped me to rebuild a successful routine. Those small choices act like a foundation for growth and unintentionally we often let this foundation fall into disrepair. Overall I found myself agreeing with many of the ideas presented in this video and think it is a good resource for those feeling overwhelmed.
