She volunteers with youth-serving organizations and was elected in 2020 to serve a four-year term as an Austin ISD Trustee, At-Large, Place 8. This means she works with 8 other elected trustees to make decisions about how the district can best help students learn.

My name is Brooke, and I am Eli’s mom! i am a social worker and help people in the community. I work with mostly older adults who need some extra help. I work with their doctors and help them find the resources and help they need. Many of my patients live alone and do not have friends or family that can help take care of them. I help connect them to resources in the community to help with their meals, transportation, and help around the house. I love the patients I work with! They are so kind and grateful. The video shows how a person in a wheelchair can access new play features at the Circle C park.
