"It's such a different world today," I hear everyone say lately.  Different from what?  The world is different every day.  It has been since the moment of its inception, Sydney.   Time changes every system, every moment.  Some days, you will think you've figured out immortality through physics.  Other days, you'll think the answer to the riddle of human nature is definitely found in a work of Twain or Joyce.  Sometimes, the poetry of Neruda will make you feel like finding answers to anything is an insignificant pursuit and you'll just want to listen to the sounds of the Earth.  Sometimes you'll look to the patience of a Mr. Curtis for existential guidance or to the perfect deadpan wit of a Mrs. Barry.  And more and more, with each passing moment,  you'll look within yourself.   Trust yourself.  And do your homework.
