There is a lot of material on his slides instead on short points. He also fidgets a lot throughout the presentation which can be very distracting. He doesn't fully know all of his research. He needs to practice more and take a lot of information off of his slides.

Riley - He is looking at the slide to much, and doesn't give credibility to the first name he mentions - just says he "has done a lot of studying about the SAT.' - Mrs. Minto and Mr. Rice: Can we make sure we have very good audio when we are recording ours, because this presentation is hard to hear and understand? -His methods' slide is way to crowded. He also is literally just reading directly off of it. - He doesn't know his material. It feels like he just threw this information onto a slide the night before and didn't practice at all. - I like how he set up his surveys, in an almost identical fashion. - He uses the clicker as a pointer. He continues to jab it towards the screen and that is extremely distracting. - I like how he explains how the data he collects can be used. - His oral defense is weak and vague. The question was specifically about the man he originally mentioned with no credibility, but he steered the question in a different direction. 1.) 2 2.) 4 3.) 1 4.) 1 I don't know what I would grade his oral defense. He only had one question that I could understand and heard the answer to. From that one question, however, I would give it a 1 Preston- Scores 1.) 2 ; 2.) 4 ; 3.) 2 ; 4.) 4 ; 5.) 2 ; 6.) 2 ; 7.) 1

Preston Hall- Scores 1.) 2 ; 2.) 4 ; 3.) 2 ; 4.) 4 ; 5.) 2 ; 6.) 2 ; 7.) 1 Preston- this presentation was overall mediocre in it's design and reflective argument. The student doesn't truly know his material and unfortunately, it shows. The slides are over-compressed and packed full of information that thereby makes it hard for the viewer to analyze. The student uses good sources but doesn't give them accurate credibility to give it substance. .
