Being that it's for the people not  just the richest or people who started with the power. In addition for someone to be the president they have to be voted on to be the president so ,someone can't just announce that they are president, they have to go through lots of stages before even trying out for president. So someone who is not prepared for the job doesn't usually get in. (Unless some Russians spread rumors.) in conclusion democracy are for the people not just the people at the top.

When you are in a democracy you get rights that you wouldn't get with another government. With democracy I would be able to vote. Voting is a huge deal. When you can vote, you can be part of a decision. This way people aren't just telling you what to do, with democracy, you get to be a change. This way the people are able to help decide what the best way to move forward is. This way you don't have to be rich to make decisions. This way you don't have to follow every single rule, you help make the rules. There are some people who would make the argument that the government still decides most of the rules and there isn't as much freedom as you think. But I disagree. Of course the government still decides most of the rules, if we didn't have rules, havoc would wreck, and if we decided all the rules, well, there aren't always people that vote for the right thing. This way, we have a good portion of freedom. We don't decide everything, but it's not people telling us plainly that we have to follow something because they said so. Unlike monarchy, oligarchy, anarchy, dictatorship, or autocracy. People aren't judged by there wealth, and they don't have total freedom that's it's unsafe, it's a good balance of decisions. This way if people don't vote, they can't complain about the laws. It will make the authorities safer. Democracy is the best choice considering all the benefits. People are able to say what they want to say. Also we have more opportunities this way. The government has just enough control that the place is safe, but the people are also able to make decisions. Any race, gender, or class can help decide. This way we have some control. It seems strange, but think about it this way; in a democracy, we have personally seen that both common and government peoples would abuse the power a democracy gives them. In an oligarchy, people are judged unfairly by their wealth; while those with money rule, prevail, and gain more wealth and power only for themselves, they also are creating an environment that only serves to punish those who cannot pay their ways out of punishment. In an anarchy, all would be free and good for a while, but then the people would begin to notice that they could do whatever they wanted, as there would be no rules or government to stop them. Eventually, some would want to rise up in a false declaration of superiority, and they would put into affect laws carefully crafted to benefit only those who were wealthy and of the same beliefs as they who created these laws. In every form of government, there is a way to poison the society and the people of said society. Even if we try to resist, those who think they can buy power and respect and rob others of it. So, no. I change my answer. I don't want to be a part of a monarchy, a democracy, an oligarchy, or anything else. I do not want to be a part of a group of people that buys their way to the top. Sure, there are people who earn everything they have, but there are others who don't. When we treat them the all the same way, that says that we are turning a blind eye to what could technically be considered treason.

First all the other choices are extremely exploitable, monarchy could lead to bad laws due to the " There the king/queen they can make the rules", an oligarchy could be the same because if anyone stood up they could just bribe there way out of it. I don't know the rest of the governments but I think anarchy means do whatever you want which would obviously lead to crime and lots of it.

I mean it would be interesting to have an anarchy, just to see what happens. There is a lot of crime in the world, but a good percentage of the population abides by the rules. If we had no rulers, would we just wake up one day and choose to go crazy? I don't think it would come  into immediate effect. I don't want people to live in fear, so it's probably not the best idea. There could be a backup person, and when things get out of hand the person will take over and enforce the law.
