All of the lines are never straight and if they were straight they would have some kind of curve to it in the end or in the middle. Each line is unique so letting myself be less restrictive with my line work would give that same effect.

I think this is the case since most old European paintings you see now adays are less pigmented since it has worn out throughout the years. It also gives slight nostalgia feeling like a polaroid camera, but maybe that's just me.
