Finding Nemo

This was one of my favorites from the set because of the contract between the colors and the background. It really helps the flower and the food coloring pop out from the sea blue/green background. I also enjoy the fact that the flower looks like it's submerged at the bottom of an ocean where there isn't much light.

Poisoned Rose

This is my favorite from the set because of the sheer clarity and sharpness of the rose and the bubbles on the flower. The black droplets also have a nice shape in this photo as well.

This is one of my favorites because of how the dye is behaving. I love how it formed streaks of color as it fell through the petals and settles into a purple cloud at the bottom.

This is one of my favorites because I like the colors. The two dyes stay on their side of the flower and background as the white breaks up the center.

This is one of my favorites because I like how the color of the food dye almost matches the color of the rose. I like this photo because of how it shows the food dye falling off the top of the rose.

This is my favorite from the flower lab because it focuses on the rose. I love the sharpness of the petals' ends; it gives off a dramatic vibe with the different shadings in between the pedals.

This is my favorite photo from the flower lab because I like how it shows the red rose with the blue food dye falling off. I like how it also shows the orange food dye falling off the rose below the blue.

Bubbles

This is my favorite because I love how there is bubbles underneath the flower petals. The sharpness of the bubbles and flower all together makes the photo look nice. I also like the sense of color I've done, I think it makes the photo more dramatic and dark.

Anemone

I love this one in particular for how tight the crop is, with almost no distracting elements in the back. The colors of the flower pop out against the black background and dye.

The purplish colors and black background remind me a lot of space. I deliberately kept the reflection on the left side of the tank because I felt it added to the overall composition.

red vs. blue

This is one of my favorite photo because of the contrast of colors and lighting. I like how the red and blue are divided and how the lighting hits the petals

I like this photo because it look likes a scene out of a horror movie with it's darkness. I also like the contrast of the blue and red to the darkness.

This one is one of my favorites because of its almost abstract look. I love how it almost looks painted on. The warm color in the flower's center makes it look glowing.

I really like this photo because of how the dyed water looks and the lighting. I like how the dye looks like it is going upward because of the lighting.

This is another one of my favorites for how clean and neat the photo is. The white of the flower and the background make the blue stand out.

I like this photo because of the contrast from the black and the orange-red color. I also feel like it looks like a windows background which I thought was funny

This was one of my favorites because its shows freezed action of the flower splashing in to the water but the water is red because of the food coloring. It also has good composition showing strong rule of thirds and selective subject.

This is one of my favs because I used the the corner of my small tank to create a real life 'pixel stretch' with the laws of physics. Its also blue and moody.

Leak

I liked how the flower seems to leak onto an empty abyss. It also remains colorfull compared to the dull background.

This image is so clear and you can see the dye leaking through. A colorfull mix that blends together nicely, and leaves a sense of mystery.

Pollen

I like this one because the background is so bright (masking work in lightroom). I love how the bubbles act as highlights and are scattered so much on the flower. The yellow is straight up from the stem, and I think it separates the photo really well.

Blue

I love how the blue looks like it filled the inside of the flower and it's overflowing. The different designs the food coloring maid was luck, but I love how it drapes over the petals and around the stem.

This was one of my favorite photos because it came out really well and the matching colors of the dye and flower. I think this photo has a really strong focus out of all the photos I took and it also lines well with the rule of thirds ( the dye drops next to the flower)

I really like this photo because it looks like the flower is fading with the dye spreading through the tank. This photo also has the flower lined up with the rule of thirds well.

i like this one because i took it from the top rather than the side and it had a cool effect.
