Example one: Marriage is only a good idea for tax reasons

I know many people personally that got married at a young age for financial reasons. Now they are stuck in a loveless marriage with way too much baggage because they found out not long after that his family is extremely religious. Divorce is no longer an option.

This shows that love doesn't exist, and the only thing anyone truly cares about is money. We delude ourselves with pipe dream of finding our "one true love", to inevitably be disappointed when we feel the need to settle for someone that will hopefully keep us from going broke.

Example two: All "love" is conditional anyways

People have only used you. They only care about themselves. [REDACTED] wanted an abortion at first. He proceeded to use me as a pawn in the divorce not long after I was born without even bother to look at my face. Case closed.

This shows that not only is romantic love impossible to achieve, but there's a 50/50 chance that your parents don't love you either. Or at the very least, excluding parents, the people who contributed their genetics to you.

Example three: Love at first sight is an even dumber idea

My older brother felt "Love at first sight" at 18. He knew nothing about her at the beginning of the relationship and only two things at the end. The two things he knew at the end? She's a dirty liar and so is his (ex) best friend.

Love does not exist because with the way we trick ourselves we are keeping it from ever being possible. People like her think love exists but believe that they will never find it. If you lie to yourself and think you can find love at least go all in. Don't break people's hearts because you're more concerned with lying to yourself than actually working towards something you want.
