I tried the STEM Study Quiz and it says I should be studying astronomy based on my personality. It will be something I will look into; I like the idea of exploring other options and putting all my eggs into one basket. After that, looked into the California CareerZone website, and quite frankly, I didn't expect to see Nuclear Engineers making so much. Nuclear Energy is something I really truly care for. Then I tried the Careers with STEM test and said I was a healer at heart! They were refiring to the medical field, however that is not something I'm interested in. I signed up for the UCR Cybersecurity bootcamp and I'm hoping I will have a great time when it starts! I'm glad we had the chance to do this assignment otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. The second school that caught my eye would be AMU. It made me start thinking about my college expenses and how I'm going to pay them off. What better way than being lifted from the burden of debts while studying what you desire is there? This is something I will really like to consider. Perhaps private schools are over glamorized? The nobility to learn is something that pays for it self. It was surprising to me only in the aspect because it is really talked down on and I didn't expect all this progressive research from them. They are advancing and making great and new discoveries. I went ahead and clicked on the UCR link and scrolled down to read the news page they had. I read about how UCR engineer research team is making affordable clothing that helps children with Cerebral palsy have better control over their hand movements. This is very noble, the fact that UCR is recognizing disability in poverty is amazing. I am now currently really interested in UCR. I am very glad we had to do it. I learned that local universities and colleges have as much value as private universities. It's not where you go its why you went and how did you study. I like passion and purpose. Perhaps UCR will help fulfil my desire for being an educated person.
