That question was answered 63 years ago. In 2040, mankind was pushed to the brim of extinction. No, that's wrong. Mankind did not extinct. Rather they were replaced by a more superior new 'mankind'. They are of different species, speak different languages and look different from anything mankind has ever met before. People called them invaders, alien and even devil because of their looks. But to prevent confusion, a scientist has given an official name for this unknown, 'novus' is what we are going to call them from now on.

Novus's appearance differ from each of them. Some had one eye, some had more than 3 eyes or some even looked like a human with sapphire colored eyes. But they have only one similarity, all of them have horns on their head.

Novus was indeed different from us, not only in appearance but also in their abilities. Their mind and physical abilities are far above us. That's why we old mankind have no choice but to accept defeat. 

In 2045, human's first space transportation ship 'shelter' was completed. But, it can only contain 1.5 Billion Peoples. The other 12 Billion people were abandoned and the Noah ark embarked on its mindless journey finding a new home.

It was said "That virus 20 years ago is just the start of everything".Now everything makes sense. There can't be two 'human' in this world. One has to perish. And that one is… us… No matter how much we try to fight it, we can't change the fate that awaits us tomorrow...

This is the story of the abandoned one in the world where death is more normal than living. Hiro the main character wakes up after sleeping for 63 years to just faces the cruel fates of humanity. Is there even anything left in this world? Is there any meaning to it? Throughout his journey in the new world he seeks for the answer along with the mysterious girl that wakes up beside him.

In this noble empire, these two girls cannot be separated. Both of them are childhood friends. One of them is currently the empress and the other is the highest ranked duchess. Despite their rank, they never look down on each other. But, all of this change when the duchess’s reputation is getting lower because of her grandfather's mistakes. Due to that, her reputation is tarnished. Wanting for more power and regained her reputation, she planned to assassinate the empress as the duchess will be next on the throne. The assassination failed as the empress knew her friend wanted to take over her position. Despite all that, she didn’t execute the duchess, but instead forgave her. As soon as the empress about to leave her room, the duchess immediately grabbed her knife and before she stabs the empress, she senses some sort of familiarity, something she had experience is happening again.

2. Altered Ego
Voices inside head. The boy always hear that voice, asking him to switch places. But he always ignores it. Until one day, when the boy got back from his school, as soon as he entered his house, he saw many murderer, using their axe and machete to stab each member of his family, some of their body parts are also missing. The boy, with horrified face, look at his older brother, his brother is mouthing him to run away. But, he cannot move his feet as he is too scared to even move. The voice in his head said 'I can help you get your revenge, but you need to switch with me'. Without hesitation, he finally switch with his other self.

After Daniel's mother passed away due to her sickness, his father was busy working from morning to night to support the family financially. On weekends, his father would stay at home to rest but sometimes he got a call to go to work. Daniel's younger siblings also were in the same state as him, in a constant loop of unable to cope with losing a mother. Realising being in grief would do nothing, Daniel took a big step and overcame the grief. 

Time by time, he started to make himself more functional by doing house chores, it also helped Daniel distracted himself from remembering that his mother is gone. He was a nine years old boy back then, it was really hard to do all of that but luckily his father helped him. Little by little, Daniel's younger siblings started to overcome the grief and they also started to help him with house chores. 

Time flies by, seeing how the family moved on from their mother's absence makes Daniel happy. However, when he thought everything was going to be better, suddenly Daniel got a letter that he was chosen to be a student in a boarding school. The location of the school was far from home, making him anxious. Daniel made a choice to turn down the school but in the end his family reassured him everything is going to be okay. 

Before the moment Daniel going to take the train to his school. He had a heartful moment with his siblings and his father. His father then told him how much a better person Daniel became. Now, Daniel is a 17 years old teenage boy, grateful for the life he have been gifted for.

His friends also accepted him for who he is even though sometimes Daniel pull pranks on them. They understand why though. Having his friends beside him also helps Daniel from becoming sad. It is true, Daniel do miss his beloved mother, but what has passed can't be changed and he moved on already. It is not like he is feeling grateful for it but it surprises Daniel how such an event can change a person.

A boy, sleeping in his bed, woken up by the sunshine brimming through his window. His mother came in to wake him up, telling him that the breakfast is ready. The boy was excited, he quickly tidied his bed, get himself ready before heading to the dining table. When he got there, he sees his father is already at the dining table, reading a newspaper. He sat down at the dining table and saw that the breakfast is his favorite egg and bacon. He was happy. After he had breakfast, he went outside and saw his friends was waiting for him. They wanted to ask him out to play with them. After asking his parents for permission, he went out with his friends. They had fun playing together. The boy was so happy, he thought this will last forever. As the camera zoom out from his happy face, he’s wearing clothes that looks like a patient’s clothes. Moreover, he’s in a room full of cushion on the walls. He laughs hysterically as he rolls around. There are a few doctors outside the room, examining the boy. Looking at the report that one of the doctors is holding, there’s a picture of the boy, but more beaten up. The doctors felt sympathy towards the boy as they leave the room, leaving him laugh hysterically, hallucinating the perfect life he had always wanted.

STORY 2(The train to The Afterlife)
[this one is a bit longer :0]

The story starts where a woman rushes into a train, manages to get into it. She finds herself a seat and sigh out of relief that she made it in time. She took this time to fix her hair a bit before the train arrive at her stop. She can already feel the exhaustion even before arriving at her workplace, knowing she’ll have to work overtime as well.

After a long stressful day of work, she manages to get the final train. She sits down, feeling tired of everything in her life. She looks at her phone, even though there’s quite a few contacts in her phone, she has no one to call to and talk about her problems. she used to have it all. but one by one, her loved one left her. Her precious friends become memories, she's by herself in this world, ruled by cruel society

She sighs. She takes out a mirror to look at herself. When she’s looking at the mirror, the reflection suddenly changes. Her face looks pale, and there’s a rope around her neck. She gasps and quickly put down the mirror. She looks around, the train is suspiciously empty. There’s no one around except her. She gets up and walks around, trying to find anyone on this train, but to no avail. She sits back down. Feeling scared, she decided to look outside. But it doesn’t help. There’s nothing outside, complete darkness. As she starts to hyperventilate, there’s footsteps. 

She’s starting to feel anxious, afraid. She finds her phone and tries to call anyone. Before she did, she notices the time, 12am. There wasn’t supposed to be a train at this hour. She’s confused, afraid. There’s not even any signal. As she’s starting to feel helpless, the footsteps are getting louder. The lights start flickering. She’s starting to give up. No one would even care about her, she thought to herself. She notices the door to the other car has open. There’s a dark man figure standing in front of the door. She feels a chill crawling through her spine when she sees the figure. Surprising to her, she can’t see his face at all. As the figure slowly approaches, all she can do is sits there, hoping that he won’t do anything to her. And he didn’t. 

He reaches out his hand to her. She’s surprised. She slowly grabs his hand with hesitation. But when she did, she feels like she’s getting lighter. All the pressure, all the sadness, all the problems she has been bottling up, they all disappear magically. She’s having a weird sensation to close her eyes and fly away. And she did. Back to the real world, There are bystanders at the train station, surrounding a woman who hanged herself.

Kuki lives with an ogre, because she has no parents and no one to protect her after her village was pillaged and burnt to the ground. Killing everyone she knew and loved. The ogre is the only one she knows that can protect her, she trusts the ogre. Wherever she goes, she does not matter. As long as the ogre was with her, she was safe and already felt she was home. But, the ogre knows, Kuki could not live with it forever, as it was the furthest thing from a human. So It decided to embark on a journey to search for a place where people could accept them and she can grow properly with humans. The ogre and Kuki bond grew stronger as if they were father and daughter and discover the lands together. Learning skills, experiencing nature and the true meaning of life.

 

Francois runs away from home, leaving his sad life behind and venturing around the world boarding on trains secretly. He often gets into trouble but always finds a way out of it. Along the way, finds an orphan girl with a sad life. After convincing her, they both dream to live a life away from sadness and living getting perform everything from acting, miming and juggling. Getting into trouble as always, their habit found themselves performing in a circus, where life for them is just entertaining folk and inspiring younger children to have a happy life.

Sun rising from the east, shining it’s light down to the town of Hamville. Birds were chirping, butterfly hatching and flying and people waking from their slumber night. Then, Gaff, the goat, the dumbest yet the oldest son and child of Winterson family has awaken from his slumber too. He let a yawn and then said, “GOOD MORNING, HAMVILLE!” while stretching his arms and legs on the bed. 

He stood up and walk to the bathroom and took a morning shower. Now his body that look unenergetic turn energetic after the fresh morning shower. He later climb down the stairs – since he’s sleeping on the second floor – and go went to the kitchen to greet his mother, Rose Winterson. “Good morning, mother!” said Gaff. Rose turn to him and smile, “Good morning to you too, sweetie!”. After that, Gaff throw his dirty clothes into the dirty clothes bucket and went to his mother back. “Is Kane gone to work again?” ask Gaff, asking about his little brother, Kane the chicken.

Rose nod. “Yes! I sent him to do some errand for me. He’s gone picking up some fresh fruits in the local store!” said Rose while cooking breakfast. “Also, Gaffy, will you please send this wrench to Mr. Gold? I got a call this morning from him that he want to borrow some wrench.” said Rose while giving him the wrench. “Oh, OKIE-DOKIE, mother!” he said as he took the wrench and left the house with roasted bread in his mouth.

After he left the house, he walk towards where Mr. Gold house is. He walking next to a cliff and because he walk next to it, he notice someone near the cliff. A man in white t-shirt and black hair. Looking so depress and look like ready to throw his life away. Gaff gasp and immediately stood below where the man about to drop off. “HEY, SIR! DON’T MOVE AN ITCH!” yelled Gaff. “WHY DO YOU CARE?!” ask the man. “Nobody cared about me….Why right now?” he ask. Gaff replied, “HEY, I DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE BUT IF YOU THROW YOUR LIFE AWAY, YOU WILL GO TO HELL! That’s what my mama always says!” said Gaff.

“I don’t care anymore. People never care about me…” he said, looking more sad. “LISTEN!....The fact I’m here, a stranger to you, came to stop you from this is proof enough that there is people who care about you and IT’S ME!” said Gaff. Upon hearing the sentences, the man came to realize how true that was. He thought that no one cares about him and treat him with bad treatment but the fact that someone like Gaff, seems to care about a stranger like him already proof enough that there is someone that care for him.

Suddenly, the ground of the cliff starts to crumble and cause him to fall. Screaming in fear, he suddenly got caught by Gaff. Later, after calm down and all. The man came to Gaff and thank him. “Thank you… I don’t know who you are but…Those words meant a lot to me.” Said the man. “It’s okay! I’m Gaff the goat! I love everyone!” replied Gaff while looking proud after he said that. “Gaff the goat….I will remember that name. My name is Marx Robert by the way.” Said Marx. “Nice to meet you, Marx! Oh! I need to hurry or mama will yell at me! SEE YA LATER, MARX ROBERT!” said Gaff. “See ya leter too, Gaff.” Said Marx before he left to the opposite direction where Gaff went.

Kane meet the giving up man

After being told to help his mother’s errand, Kane went to Henry’s garage. A place where Jack Nick working in as a mechanic. His errand is to send a screwdriver since Jack lost it recently. 

After he met Jack and gave him the screwdriver, he notice the sadness within Jack’s body language. Seems as if he was unhappy with his work. Kane ask what happen. Jack look at Kane the Chicken. He replied with, “Recently I’ve been feeling so unhappy with my job.” Said Jack. 

Kane understood his situation. Jack might be feeling a burnout. So he told Jack, “Don’t give up, Jack. You might facing a burnout right now. You need some day off.” And Jack replied, “Why?” 

Kane replied. “Because the fire that keeps your passion to work and gain some life savings starts to burning out. So getting some day off and have a long rest might help you gaining that burning passion.” Said Kane. Jack nod. Maybe he have some burnout from his body. He agree with Kane and will take some day off by tomorrow. Kane smile and say goodbye to Jack before he left and return to his home.

There is a girl who live in a big house. She has everything she wants but not everything.

She always lonely and never have someone that really care about us. Even though her mom and her dad love her very much but they never act like they love her. She thought that her mom and her dad are not loving her. One day she decide to run away because she has issue with her dad. Her mom hold her hand and ask her to please don’t go. But because of the little girl feel like her mom on her dad side she still run. But unfortunately the little girl got hit by a car. The good things is her mom and dad are there. The little girl parents take care of her until she in good condition. And the little girl realise that her mom and dad really love her. They might not give a lot of attention or time to her but their parents try hard to give her a good life and that how their parents shows their love to little girl.

Friends

There is a boy who have a good friends. When ever he had a bad time John (the boy’s best friend) always there to listen to her problem cheer him up and never let he going through everything alone. Eventhough the boys always been bullied because her friends in school always thought he such a weirdo. His mum are really worry to her son because she know her son are not like other son. That boy didn’t know why people hate him because he didn’t do anything wrong. One day his mum decide to sent her son to doctor psychology. And that time her mom know that her son are having friends with his imagination friends. But her son didn’t know his friend are not real. But after a year the boy knows that he have an imagination friends. Eventhough John is his imaginary friends the boy still love him. You may not real but we will always be brothers. 

A world with a lot of small island, and each island lives a peaceful tribe. These tribes are all fighters and all of them are really strong. They visit each other once a year to maintain the tradition so each tribe get their protection from the devil attacking them. One day, a devil appears, and attack all the tribe and destroy all the island. All the tribe were killed. There’s only leave two people that is a grandfather and a grandchild. But the devil didn’t realise that the two of them still alive. After that, these two train themselves to gain more power so they can defeat the devil and revenge for their whole tribe. But, is it possible for them to defeat this devil and its power by their ownself? Because the devil are too powerful even the strongest fighters can’t defeat him….

BURNOUT

A world where racing is the way to survive. There’s two top racer are fighting each other for the champion title, they race each other for years and the race always a draw. Other racer tried to beat them but no one could because they are too skilled with the driving skills. In this world, there’s no rule to race. You race, or you die. The racing track are very dangerous and only the skilled will survive the race. And so they keep racing to get the champion title....

During the war, A soldier was captured by the enemies. He regained conscious and he found himself in and empty room handcuffed to a chair. Soon later, a man with 2 bodyguard came into the room. He is no other than Al-qadeer. He is the most wanted terrorist in the world. He said that the this world is a cruel place and it must be destroy. He then left the room. By knowing something like this might happened to him, he kept a hairclip in his back pocket. He took the hairclip and freed him. He then open them door and saw 2 enemies guarding. He soons grabs the knife from one of the enemy's pocket and silently kill's both of them. The man then took one of the enemy's clothes and disguise as the enemy. When he was trying to escape, the whole enemy troop was asked to summon by Al-qadeer. As he got there, Al-qadeer said that the enemy's had found their location and is going to launch an attack any time soon. He then walked out and meets the commanding officer and asked to prepare a helicopter for him to evacuate. By knowing his next plan, the man had to move ahead. Without anyone knowing he picked up and planted a remote explosive device to the helicopter and data stands aside. As Al-qadeer and the commander officer walks in the room, they get into the helicopter and they flew in the air. He then press the remote and the helicopter exploded, killing Al-qadeer and the commanding officer. The man then escaped and contacted his team.

*NOWHERE*

One day, a kid was going to his room. He then closed his eyes for a second and when he opened, he was in a different dimension. It looks scary. He then meet a man who said that he must go into a room with a red door and has to destroy the statue. The man then walked away. The kid walks and starts finding for the red door. When he found the door, he enters and immediately starts feeling cold. Finally, he found the statue and he takes a hammer to break it down. Suddenly, a demon appears and chase the kid down. When the demon caught the kid. He locked him in a room. The kid was so scared and screamed for help. Out of nowhere 3 souls came and unlock the door. They said that the demon has locked them too and the kid has to destroy that statue. The kids then founded the statue and the demon was there. The kid took the hammer and knock down the demon and runs to the statue. When he finally destroyed the statue, he demon fades away and the souls fades away too. A door then appeared. The kid walks into the door which brought him back to his room.
