There is a new church in Mid Michigan which meets every Sunday inside the Mount Pleasant Celebration Cinemas movie theater. We haven't attended there, but it has been really neat hearing how the church has been growing, and I also think that it was a great idea to make use of the space inside a movie theater. If you would like to learn more about this church, there is a Facebook group where you can get more information. #midmichigan #religion

5K walk/run family fundraisers planned for May 10, 2014 to benefit the MPCC South Africa 2014 Mission

The Mt. Pleasant Community Church - South Africa 2014 Mission team is planning a 5K walk/run family fundraisers for May 10, 2014. Registration is $20. Day of event it is $25.00. We are calling the race "Run for the Mama's" In South Africa woman are called Mama as a sign of respect. You can bring a picture and run for someone or dress in your mama's hat, dress, scarf. Hello Everyone, it's Lisa from the Shepherd Maple Syrup Princess Pageant. Age divisions k-2 and 3-5 are full;) I only have three more spots in 6-8. If any young ladies are interested let me know. It should be another great year. We have so much fun;) Our pageant is about having fun and making friends;) Learning that they are strong young ladies and they can do anything they put their mind to.
