Hello! I am Zach Alexzander V. Bordios, a 2nd year EMC student. My main interests are Music, mainly the Pop Punk genre, my favorite band is Blink 182. Another one of my interests as an EMC student is of course gaming, my favorite genres in gaming are MOBAs, Fighting games, and Roguelikes. The newly released FNAF movie is also one that has my attention since I have been a fan of the franchise ever since the release of the first game.

Part B - Music Scene

In this section I would like to feature the Philippine music scene, mainly the recent resurgence of Carlos Agassi. In recent months Him and his wife have released multiple music tracks that are laughably terrible, and I believe this was on purpose. I believe it is a genius marketing move by Agassi as the Philippine social media sphere is quick to make fun of something or someone, it is a double edged quality as it sometimes can put targets on the wrong topics.

Part C - Agenda Setting

With Carlos Agassi's resurgence stemmed from something intentionally made to be bad, I am certain other will follow suit and make their own projects that are also of terrible quality. It definitely is not the first time this has been done, I have seen it multiple times around the internet, but in local news it most probably is one of the most successful.

The success of this will change the way companies and indie brands will do their marketing, they will try to be more self aware and fill their advertisements with irony to try to connect to younger audiences. A lot of these attempts will fall flat and fail as people from the newer generations will see through a lot of these attempts and see them as trying too hard.
