         <description><![CDATA[<p>MY OPINION IS THAT CRISPR TECHNOLOGY HAS ENORMOUS POTENTIAL TO REVERSE GENETIC MUTATIONS. FUNDING IS NEEDED AND REQUIRED TO SUPPORT PATIENTS WHO SUFFER FROM DEBILITATING CONDITIONS. I SEE THE NEED DIRECTLY IN MY PATIENT POPULATION OF PEDIATRICS. I BELIEVE THAT ONE OF MY PATIENTS IN PARTICULAR, WHO HAS A GENETIC MUTATION "SLC13A5", COULD GREATLY BENEFIT FROM GENE THERAPY. UNFORTUNATELY, RARE CONDITIONS LIKE THIS ARE UNLIKELY TO BE DISCOVERED WITHOUT THOROUGH GENE TESTING, AND WITHOUT RECOGNITION OF HOW WIDESPREAD THE DISEASE IS, THE FUNDING DOES NOT BACK THE CLINICAL RESEARCH/TRIALS. THIS GENE MUTATION LIMITS ALL OF HIS FUNCTION ABILITIES, INCLUDING WALKING, TALKING, SWALLOWING, ETC. CRISPR TECHNOLOGY CAN POTENTIALLY COMPENSATE FOR THE PATHOGENIC GENE AND REVERSE THE DISEASE.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>TOP FIVE STRENGTHS:</p><p>ADAPTABILITY</p><p>POSITIVITY</p><p>INPUT</p><p>FUTURISTIC</p><p>INCLUDER</p><p>-----------</p><p>I BELIEVE MY STRENGTHS WILL HELP THE TEAM BY BEING ABLE TO ADAPT TO DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES OR SITUATIONS, KEEPING THE TEAM MORALE UP WITH POSITIVITY, GIVING GOOD INPUT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROJECT, THINKING FUTURISTICALLY, AND ALWAYS BEING INCLUSIVE, GIVING EVERY INDIVIDUAL A SENSE OF UNITY.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>FERNANDO (FOCUS)- I CHOSE FERNANDO BECAUSE I NEED A TEAM MEMBER WHO IS FOCUSED, STAYS ON TASK, AND CAN STAY CONSISTENT WITH ORGANIZING AND PLANNING.</p><p>CARTER (COMMUNICATION)- I CHOSE CARTER BECAUSE EVERY TEAM REQUIRES EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION TO BE SUCCESSFUL, I THINK CARTER WOULD BE A GREAT ATTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM.</p><p>DANIEL (DISCIPLINE)- I CHOSE DANIEL BECAUSE I AM NATURALLY A DAY-DREAMER, SPONTANEOUS, AND UNORGANIZED. I THINK A STRENGTH LIKE DISCIPLINE WOULD HELP REEL ME BACK IN AND HELP THE TEAM STAY STRUCTURED WITH ROUTINE.</p><p>ALICE (ACHIEVER)- I CHOSE ALICE BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT AN ACHIEVER WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO ACCOMPLISH SET GOALS, A GREAT ADDITION TO THE TEAM.</p><p>CARLEE (CONSISTENCY)- I CHOSE CARLEE BECAUSE CONSISTENCY IS THE MOST PRODUCTIVE WAY TO COMPLETE A PROJECT OR ASSIGNMENT.</p>]]></description>
