         <description><![CDATA[<div>Driving Question:<br><strong>How can we design and build a domino path where all of the dominos change their motion?<br></strong><br>Students will watch the YouTube video, <em>Pushing and Pulling</em>.<br>The teacher will pause the video briefly for students to interact with the questions asked; a turn-and-talk with a partner.<br><br>The teacher will introduce domino paths and the reactions of motion that follow when <em>pushed</em>. Then, the driving question will be verbally prompted; also written on the board where students may refer back to.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before sending students to exploration with the activity, the teacher will read the Engineering Cards; aiding students who are still working on fluency. The teacher will also walk around supporting students who need to read the prompts again.<br><br>Students will work in pairs to become familiar with domino paths using the Engineering Cards with various domino paths. Students will gather the needed materials from its' bag, and interact with the design prompt. <br><br>Once students have completed two engineering cards, they will move onto the driving question: <strong>How can we design and build a domino path where all of the dominos change their motion?<br><br>Need to Create:</strong></div><ul><li>Engineering Card baggies with needed materials.</li></ul>]]></description>

Students will collaborate and guide one another with reading.</li><li>The teacher will ask open-ending questions to the pairs to gauge understanding and their thought processes when designing, building, and testing their domino model.</li></ul>]]></description>
