Actually , I did'nt expect to take this Hotel Management course because I put this course to bottom of the list but with God's permission I will carry this courses very carefully . Oppps , I forgot to mention that now I'm studied at UiTM Campus Permatang Pauh for course B. of Sc. (Hons.) Hotel Management . I'm in first semester now and I feel excited to know and study about the courses who I don't expect to study at all but I'll try my best to do so . Unfortunately , HTM400 should be helded on Wednesday , 20 Oct 2021 but because of somethings urgent Dr. Azila cannot proceed our classes and have to postponed that on Friday . 

The day coming ! , our class should be started at 9.00 pm until 11.45pm but Dr. Azila have to ended the classes a little bit early by 10.00pm because of many reasons I think . Before the class ended , she gave us link of activities to do after the class and should be done before 8 tomorrow morning . Before I forgot , that night our class combined with dip courses who learn same content with us . At first , it gave me suprised and shocked cause so many students joined us ( almost 100 people) at that time , but some of them cannot joined us because its too packed . It's quite sad but Dr. Azila managed to handle that thing by doing recording for them .

During the class , Dr. Azila explained abt the overview of the hospitality & tourism management . It's so much interesting cause many of the students gave a good responded to Dr. Azila and also gave me some viewed abt the hospitality & tourism management . As U know , I'm from STPM student and did'nt knew anything abt that courses . First of all, when the class began, Dr. Azila went through our activities at nearpod and reminded us not to submit twice so our friends can get through the activities. Unfortunately, my name was picked up cause I've submitted twice, I'm sorry guys cause making the trouble! After the explanation, we continued our classes with the previous sub-subject which is the nature of the product.

Today, we learned that services are products offered by the hospitality industry to customers and guests. Its called intangible which is also called cannot be touched by employees and, cannot be seen also cannot be evacuated.

Next, we also learned abt service characteristics like intangibility, heterogeneity, inseparability, and perishability. It's included the purpose of the hotel and restaurant and services encounter. In conclusion, we ended our classes and also ended chapter 1 Fundamentals of Hospitality and Tourism Industry

This week, we started with the new chapter in Travel and Tourism (chapter 2). We learned many things with Dr. Azila and she also gave us some of her experience abt traveling. She said 'you're still young, go travel as much as u can and do anything u want'. While she gave that explanation, I just thought that I should go traveling to some places to reduce my stress and also to experience something.

Okay, back to the lecture. Dr. Azila explained that tourism involves the movement of visitors to a place to enjoy the attractions, special events, food, and environment but not all travel involves tourism like migrants and soldiers. We also learned abt different tourists and excursionists. 

Tourists are people who stay at 1 place for more than one night but excursionist is people who travel and return home on the same day. She also explained that there are a few types of tourism as business trips, religious tourism, shopping tourism, medical tourism, and others. 

Actually every week I found that HTM400 classes are so much fun but sometimes I'm just too lazy to do revisions before class. We're a little bit rushing to catch up on another chapter for Test 1 but we managed to finish our chapter 3 I think with laughter & fun!! I hope we can finish chapter 4 before Test 1 begins. Let's combine 2 weeks overall. 

During the class, my lecturer spoke so fast than I thought for the past 2 weeks may be rushing to catch another topic but sometimes I can't manage to hear it. With that, I recorded the meeting & heard twice so can I adapted her teaching. In the last lecture, my lecturer again shared her experience travelling across our country. It gave us some fun & managed to express ourselves to travel too. Sometimes I have a passion to travel around the world because of her. I admire her so much, It was the best lecturer ever for me!! Even though we can't yet meet but I can feel her kindness, sweetness, & also humble. Dr. Azila starts the class a little bit late and its quite okay with me hehehe ^^ Within the time 4-5pm Dr. Azila gave us a briefing to answer our test which is on 3rd Dec 21. Im quite nervous when someone talked abt any exams or tests even assignments but I tried to calm down as well. Dr. Azila explains that the tests have 50 MCQ and we must focus more on the hotel chapter.

I went through all chapters and do a quick revision on the e-book and some notes that were given.

On 3rd December 21
I answered the questions around 3 to 5 pm and the questions were quite tricky and difficult to answer. Thank god the tests can do open book hahaha ^^ I have a little bit of confidence to answer even though I didn't refer too much to the book. Refer the questions, its true that Dr. Azila said that the tests have more questions abt hotel chapter but I managed to answered it. My mark is 66/100 which is 2 points for each questions. Im quite dissapointed for this mark but I do my best !! Hope I will improve more on another test. This is my last class with Dr. Azila, she asked all the students about what they want to become (their ambition)

I want to talk about myself. I want to be a math teacher, stewardess, pilot, and also housewife. I already aim that after I finish my degree, I want to take Master on ijazah Pendidikan and be a math teacher but it's too difficult for me because before 25 years old I want to live a happy marriage with my partner. Yes, I know we can do a part-time study but I can't do dua kerja dalam satu masa. I have to struggle with my studies and also struggle to be a wife and mother at the same time. Maybe it's easy for everyone but not for me. Maybe I will be suffering more. 

But, it's okay. I will keep my mind about that. I hope I can do both of them. Wish me luck Dr.!

And, before I forgot. I would like to thank Dr. Azila because teaching us and I know we're giving u so much trouble teaching us during your class. I hope we can see u again next semester and always be a supportive, motivated, and productive lecturer to all of the students.
