It provided adaptation the U.S desperately needed, boosting the economy in the process. If this were not in place there would be no way of acquiring the supplies needed to even say the U.S was apart if the war, it fuelled the military with all necessary equipment. These gardens were the WIB of the human body, it kept them going. They were a massive part of this war because this is what fuelled the bodies of everyone but more importantly made sure those in battle weren't lacking food. The factor of pride and nationalism was key to providing for the countries in the war. Yes their may have been great success in war but at what consequence. The debt only caused the raise of taxes and with the lack of jobs it was irrational for the government to expect this to go peacefully. The people were frustrated, things were expensive but they had no money for it. The struggles between everyone involved is important to acknowledged as this greatly affected their daily lives and people had to attempt to figure things out despite the great difficulty.

Despite the dispute this brought, it was needed as it controlled people from acting out on emotion and negatively affecting the government. If false information was spread this not only affected the government but some lacked to see the bigger picture of how it would impact everyone. Without it people would have the opportunity to convince hundreds of others of what they believe are the facts but are only lies which can easily lead to greater problems like riots, destruction and conflicts between citizens.
