By sharing good ideas with other teachers, it will promote yourself to principals and other professionals who might use this tool to decide whether or not they want to give you an opportunity in the future.

PLNs are a great way to receive tools and resources from other teachers. By creating a network with other teachers who use a PLN, it becomes a great way to collaborate or even to steal ideas in order to utilize them in our own classes. By using the networks, it can make life as a teacher easier because many resources can be found on the internet rather than being made from scratch.

Sharing information and ideas with other teachers can be very rewarding in itself. By helping other inexperienced teachers, it can expand your network and build you a positive reputation amongst other professionals in your field.

Just because someone teaches another grade or subject, doesn't make their PLN unhelpful. A lot of ideas from PLNs can be altered to fit different ages and grade levels in order to fit your class. PLNs are useful no matter the subject or grade level.
