The definition of an irrational number was one that was always communicated to me in a confusing way at first.
2. I believe this was always confusing because I was often told and read that an irrational number cannot be written as a fraction; however, sqrt(3)/2 can still be a nonterminating nonrepeating number

Sines and cosines still give me nightmares to this day. I found Trig so challenging mostly because I struggled with algebra.

I found it difficult to help the students because it was something I didn't fully understand myself.
