One of the features of this city that I am proud of is the clean MRT system, you can always see cleaning staff organize the station very well every day. And one of the things that surprises foreigners the most is how polite people are while waiting for the train. We will wait in line until passengers exit the metro carriages.

In addition, there are diverse coffee shops in the city too. With some shops selling clothes, they would form a shopping area which attracts customers to come frequently, including the youngsters like me. My hometown provides various resources and environments; therefore, visiting coffee shops is one of my hobbies. I would do my work or study in the cafe in my free time.

This product is designed for writing messages, it features a cute illustration of a croissant and a little baker. What caught my eye was that if you fold the front part, it resembles a croissant in a paper bag, and you can unfold it to write messages.

To me, this design is quite stunning and has the potential to attract customers' interest and encourage purchases. I want to create products like this one, with a strong sense of design and charming illustrations!

I follow the steps from the video, it's precious and gorgeous to me because it's just like my newborn child. But my old plane is aiming for nothing; it merely has a basic design. It is so long, heavy and lacks standout features in performance design; as a result, it falls immediately to the ground. Then, I plan to add a target to my new plane, increasing its stability when flying indoors.

Therefore, I need to change the folding methods of the plane. It has become more complicated and requires more steps compared to the last one, because of the addition of new speed  enhancing technology. Successfully, it performs well when I fly it into the air. It doesn’t immediately fall to the ground and can fly for a long distance. It has been many years since I played with a paper plane, so I’m really happy that I prioritized stability in my plane and it works very well.

Finally, since I put in lots of effort, I would like to add my name to make my plane more recognizable in the air, and also decorate it to make it more special and fantastic.

Try to be interactive with people to think deeply, critically about the issue which you care about. 

Identify the topic you want to complain about, set up the audiences that you want to convey messages to. 

Do not try only few times to think, we need to change different perspectives with others to make sure you are not convincing yourself.

Personal definition:

Active listening occurs when someone engages in a conversation with you. It involves not only nodding your head and responding with short sentences but also understanding their thoughts and staying focused on the topic.

Active listening is crucial in university settings because it allows us to explore ideas together and expand our knowledge by exchanging perspectives. Through conversations, we can learn more about each other’s interests, backgrounds, and ideas, fostering meaningful relationships and deeper connections.

Not only do I have to respond effectively while deeply considering the topic, but I also need to learn how to manage each section within a short period.

I believe that with more practice and frequent discussions with my classmates, it will become more natural for me.

Depending on various factors such as effort or determination, we decide to take action in different ways. Everyone has their own experiences in life, and what they receive influences their journey before they arrive at the end. These experiences motivate us to change not only ourselves but also society, even though we come from different countries and races, we are still dedicated to finding connections between people’s minds and the world. And art is limitless; we do not have any expectations about what inspiration art can bring to us. By incorporating diverse ideals into your artworks to convey various messages, people connect artists from all over the world. It is powerful that those feelings and strengths are clustered together, we will be conscious of these movements and be moved by them.

However, audiences received messages from art are still limited due to specific areas and topics. We have no ability to decide that society has to be aware of global issues when some problems happen in their daily life. Besides that, we do not acknowledge if people receive the messages which belong to the artworks deliberately, or if artworks perfectly transfer behind meanings to the audiences. It is still difficult for people to raise societies’ attention and increase their interests as the goal of art activism. 

In conclusion, it is respectful for those who participate in art activism to strive for a more equal and peaceful society. Their hard-working spirits are uncommendable regardless of whether their jobs are worthless or not as long as they succeed in their goal. I believe their determination cannot be diminished whenever they face any kind of obstacle. It is a chance to achieve their goal; if we cannot reach the end, what we have done for society is more important to remember.

The skills I learn this week are new to me, specifically the ability to do  citation and referencing. I realized learning these skills was complicated during class because we rarely use them in our research and that have many rules to follow. This week’s homework project provides us a crucial opportunity for me to learn how to present it well.

This week I started to learn many professional skills that are necessary for students in this course. While I am eager to improve my writing and speaking skills professionally, my abilities to memorize vocabulary and grammar still need improvement.

Stress encourages me to be stronger; it is a way for me to improve myself, even though it is harsh and demanding.
