In the story, "All Summer in a Day", inequality can make someone feel as though their peers are superior over themselves and make them feel unwanted. We feel this way because Margot is different from the other children and so they don't except her, which means that the children feel they are superior over her. The children make Margot an outcast by their actions and words. They make Margot feel as though she is lesser compared to them, because she has seen the very thing they have not. But, after seeing the sun the children feel that their actions towards Margot were wrong and that they should treat her like they do all the other children.

Inequality can make someone feel left out or not apart of something like a group. This means that someone has power over another person and things aren't fair. In the story, "All summer in a day" it shows that when Margot was sitting and looking out the window feeling sad, no one really seemed to care about her. She wouldn't participate and didn't have any friends to talk to. Everyone hated her because she was different, They are looking at her different and acting like she doesn't belong there. She doesn't fit in at all on venus. This is not fair for Margot because it isn't equal.

Identity can change a person's view or opinion on another person. In the story, "All Summer in a Day", Margot was the only one from earth, giving her a different identity or background than the rest of them, and because of this, she was treated differently. This is shown in column 4, when it explains how she was different, and the kids knew that so she kept away from her. Thus showing that having a different identity can make people view you differently, even though we are all still human.

In the story, "All Summer in a Day," it has shown that jealousy can lead to bullying. It adds sadness and tension into peoples lives, as well as changing people for the worse. Margot was bullied because her classmates were jealous that she has seen the sun, and remembers it.

Jealousy can cause hatred between people. In "All Summer in a Day" jealousy causes conflict between the characters. When Margot tells the other kids that has seen the sun, they become envious and begin to bully her. Pushing and shoving her and eventually escalating the bullying to locking her in a closet. The other kids felt that she was more superior because she had seen the sun. They then tried to make her feel less than them.
