         <title>My PDQ journey ( DTDT )</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;</div><div>Being on the DTDT course was a great learning experience for me. While I was on the course, I realized the importance of technology integration for the enhancement of teaching and learning process. After completing my Diploma in teaching with digital technology, I searched and got connected with online platforms like Edutopia, near-pod, Teaching Channel, Ted Ed and LinkedIn teachers so I could find suitable and age-appropriate strategies for my students and to enroll my teachers on these platforms. I learnt more about the recent teaching theories. Read books on pedagogies and technologies keeping in mind the TPACK model. I organized my time in such a way that I allocated some time to read online blogs or write my own blogs related to teaching and learning experiences.&nbsp; I also shared my classroom practices and experiences through the official Google Classroom group of our school which I created for my teachers.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I explored the latest pedagogies and technologies related to teaching and learning. I integrated these pedagogies and technologies successfully in my teaching to make the teaching and learning process efficient.&nbsp; I designed activities that are on the modification and redefinition levels of SAMR model and on the infusion and transformation level of TIM’s Matrix.&nbsp; I made lesson study groups and ensured that the spiral of Kolb’s cycle is complete. My mentor noticed that my lesson planning and the phrasing of my learning outcomes drastically improved after completing the course.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; In order to allow innovation and experimentation, there were a number of activities which were used for the first time in my lessons. The first was to write and publish their own blogs on their blogging website and read others’ blogs as well. For this I used wix.com. Second was to make videos as part of a public awareness campaign. This was an innovative idea because I had never taught them the technical aspects of making a video using pictures, written messages and animation altogether. They also published their videos to their official YouTube account. Recording podcast was another innovative idea as we had never experimented with it before. For this activity I used vocaroo.com as it enabled learners to not only record their public service messages but also allowed them to publish them on the website. These were some of the glimpses of my CIE course. I cascaded this training by conducting workshops and online training sessions with my colleagues.</div>]]></description>

         <title>CAIE Diploma of Teaching with Digital Technologies has opened a new arena of teaching and learning for incorporating digital technologies innovatively in my school. It was undoubtedly an amazing journey and an experience full of learning, which has changed my perspective and has made me reflect, analyze and improve my teaching practices. This program has enabled me to implement strategies and pedagogies that provide avenues for my teachers and students to become global citizens.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning from PDQs turned to be very fruitful in teaching and learning in my classroom. Now students are more independently motivated towards the assigned tasks. They are taking responsibility of their own learning and showing great enthusiasm in presenting their research work. I integrated technology in my Social Studies Project on Rocks and Mountains. All instructions, for students, were uploaded on Google classroom. Students were divided into groups and each group was given a different topic to research on. Students collaborated on Google Meet to discuss and share responsibilities. Each group presented their research work in form of Power Point Presentation in resource room using Multimedia.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First of all, it was an honor to be a part of the CAIE PDQ course. Diploma in Teaching with Digital Technologies offered me an opportunity to explore and apply a range of technology-based software and tools that aided in making my students' learning experience more engaging and meaningful. I learned the importance of student collaboration and use of discussion forums. I also learned about importance of feedback, including administration of quizzes and peer reviews, choosing rubrics for assessment. In short, this course was very interesting and useful for me. As an instructional coach I use the techniques I learnt for training teachers. The course helped me to open up opportunities for learning beyond the regular and I am now connected to a network of teachers through international forums.<br><br></div><div>Thank you!&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
