Is it fresh? Is it ripe? These are questions that many people worldwide- including you- ask every time you go to the market. Well, the answer lies on the product itself. Let's go to the first question. Is it local? Well, on plastic packages it's probably secluded in a corner where you will have a hard time seeing. On fruits its on a small sticker. If not, then ask the staff if you happen to see them. Now, on to the next question. Is it fresh? Well, if it is a say, veggie, you can usually find out by color, smell, or touch. If you aren't sure, then, again, ask the staff. On a package, you can check the expiration date. Now onto the final question. Is it ripe? This only goes for food, so let's get to it! Most fruits are classified by color.
