         <description><![CDATA[<p><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://piruqatigiit.ca">piruqatigiit.ca</a> </p><p><br/></p><p>Piruqatigiit Resource Centre is an Iqaluit-based non-profit serving Nunavummiut across the territory, specifically focusing on children, youth and adults with suspected or diagnosed Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and other neurodiversities. They provide Inuit-guided support, education and advocacy to individuals, families and organizations </p><p><br/></p><p>Piruqatigiit Resource Centre in Nunavut support children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and neurodiversities through Inuit-guided, strengths-based programming like the Uluriaralaat (ages 506) and Ajungi Club (ages 7-11). They offer tailored learning, mental health support, assessment clinics, and caregiver training, fostering independence and community connections. </p><p><br/></p><p>Community partners are essential to the Piruqatigiit Resource Centre because they facilitate a “Tamatta” (all o furs together) approach, fostering a collaborative, wraparound network that supports individuals with FASD and their families in Nunavut. Partners help integrate Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (Inuit knowledge), improve awareness, reduce stigma, and build community capacity to create culturally safe, sustainable, and equitable opportunities. </p><p><br/></p><p>Aileen </p>]]></description>
