The Arc Mercer spans a variety of residential, supported living, and day programs. As part of this matrix, the organization has created a Family Support program that focuses on fulfilling the specific needs of guardians, families, and caregivers. With all queries responded to within 24 hours, the program enhances communication and support capacities, and ensures that the full range of care stakeholders are collaborating on care and service delivery.

In 2022, The Arc Mercer launched its first ever International Partnership Initiative, in honor of Liberian Independence Day. With a diverse employee base, the organization had already formed the Liberian Community Connection Group, and this sparked the idea of recruiting Liberian staff directly, who would undergo training in New Jersey before returning to their home country. The aim of this ambitious project is to work with the Liberian government to expand social and health services capacities in ways that allow people to live richer, more empowered lives.
