I think AI is about creating machines that can think and act like humans. It's still new and developing, but I've heard about self-driving cars and robots as examples.
I've used Grammarly to check my writing, and I think it uses AI to suggest corrections. Other than that, not really.
AI could help teachers by grading papers or giving students personalized feedback. It might also make learning more engaging with interactive lessons.
I'm not sure how fair AI would be. What if it makes mistakes or is biased? We need to be careful about how it's used.

I have never used AI tools or applications in the a professional manner. I don't believe I have in my personal life either. I am excited to learn somthing new today.

I am not familiar with AI at all and have never used it.

I am concerned about cheating.... students getting AI to do ther writing assignments for them.

I am concerned that my students will use AI to create their documents, rather than their own words and voice. I believe AI can be a great tool to help proficient writers improve upon their writing, but not emerging writers. Emerging writers need to learn how to write effectively.

I am sure AI is used for a world of other applications besides writing, but I don't have any idea how I would use those at this point.

I have used AI to catch my daughter not writing her own essay. Chat GPT to plan a themed party. In the classroom, I had a history video for my students and used MagicSchool to generate questions.

Reservations - sweeping the internet for info, whether it is accurate or not and then creating an answer that people believe is true.

My understanding of AI is that it is a tool that can help improve my writing, to make it more exciting or professional. I have used AI in Canva, and in a business planning tool called Liveplan. I also know that AI is able to answer questions by looking through other online sources. My worry is that it will lessen critical thinking for students if used incorrectly.

It can do so many things....filters on social media, plan things out for you, answer questions that you might have. I haven't used any AI tools or applications. Benefits: make my life easier. Reservations: getting into the trenches and being overwhelmed.

AI: Programs that can generate writing, pictures, etc, based on information fed to it.

I have used AI with Grammerly and in personal life with game play stories such as creating worlds, characters, and storylines.

Concerns are that students may use this instead of creating their own content in assignments. Concerned in big picture with reaching a point that we cannot tell what is AI generated and real life.

I think AI is every learning robot brain that humans can interact with through questioning. Is also used to control technology. Gonna take over the world?

I have used Grammarly to check my writing, chatGPT to ask questions and I used magicschool.ai last school year

AI can assist you in making your workload significantly lighter, it can make rubrics, create quizzes, and even write whole lesson plans around a topic!

Just like having to check for plagiarism we are going to have to use websites that check if a written piece is AI generated or not.

I think AI is a little scary.

I use Grammarly all the time and I love it!

I used Google Gemini to create a lesson on Newton's Laws.

AI could be beneficial in the classroom to help cut down time spent on Lesson planning & creating lessons.

Super concerned with 8th graders and AI.

I have used Chat GPT to help with drafting letters of recommendation and report narratives.
