Again the idea of a webquest appears (Day 2 Assignment), which is something new to me, but it fits the with the 10th grade feel I mentioned in the Brave New World work. Anyways, the group at Lincoln High School who designed this, and Mr. Gordin at Portland Schools who revised this, have poured a lot of work and effort into this lesson plan. This instructor has combined the two works at the usual 9th and 10th grade level, but has uniquely attributed many ideas that transfer from Antigone to Civil Disobedience. The creator includes sections from "Letter from the Birmingham Jail" and a reading by the Hulk (there's a nerd joke :)) of "Civil Disobedience" by Thoreau - an excellent piece I read in college as well!
