No settled population. Formed in 1994 initially as a 5 year deal. Essentially, the PA is the name given to the Palestinian government of occupied territories on the West Bank and Gaza with its own legislative, executive, and judicial power. Hamas control the PA on the Gaza strip, Fatah control the West Bank.
