The Kshatriyas are similar to the knights and kings from the feudal system, and the vaishyas are the common people. The shudras and untouchables are like the peasants, with very few rights and meant to work the lands.

One of the most obvious similarity in the two systems is that it's a hierarchy in which different people are defined by their social structure.

Another simililarity is that the people are kind of the same. Like the Shudras are the Peasents. They are both involved in the primary sector, like agriculture, farming, animal husbandry, ect. The Vaishas are the common people who do normal jobs, like doctors teachers, ect. The shatriyas are the soldiers, who fight for their country or place. The Brahmins are like the Monarch, so they have the most control and power over the land.

The kings and lords were the same as the Kshatriyas, they could rule over any land they wished. Except the Kshatriyas put the Brahmins before them. The Vaishyas and knights also fought for the king.

Indian feudalism was divided on a caste-basis such as Brahmanas, Kshatriya, Vaishaya and Shudras, while European feudalism was divided on the basis of class as in nobility, clergy and commoners. The systems had similar characteristics, i.e., they both had four categories of people with the same pattern, which defined what they did and served the same purpose. The two systems had untouchables, people considered unclean, and they did the same unclean jobs like leather tuning.
