"One day, we will sit in the shade of the trees we planted many years ago."

I do not know who said that, but the implications are far reaching, especially in education. I believe that in the future, the students and athletes who I help train and educate will leave a lasting mark on this world, and I will have some determination on the size, shape, duration, and coloration of that mark. It is therefore my duty and privilege to teach them to the best of my ability and from the depths of my experiences.
