         <description><![CDATA[<div>Research questions:</div><div>(1) What are the factors influencing social media on different levels of social media user participation? What are the influencing mechanisms?<br>(2) What effect does user interaction in social media have on buyers' intentions? What are the mechanisms that influence?</div><div><br>Hypothesis:</div><div>H1: Social media has a significant positive impact on the three dimensions of user consumption engagement.<br>H2: Social media has a significant positive effect on user consumption-based participation.<br>H3: There is a significant positive effect of social media on user contribution-based engagement.<br>H4: There is a significant positive effect of social media on user creation-based engagement.</div><div><br>Therefore, this research uses Sina Weibo as a research platform to supplement the existing theoretical models and explore the generalizability of existing findings.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Since the 1990s, people have been sharing their consumer experiences and product preferences on forums and websites like Yahoo (Kozinets, 2001).&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>With the rapid development and popularity of social media, marketers from various companies are increasingly using social media to build a bridge with consumers and facilitate the exchange of product information between users and companies (Carlson et al., 2018).</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Consumption, contribution, and production are all aspects of the three-dimensional social media paradigm(Muntinga et al., 2011).</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Consumption-based engagement is the least active type of engagement behavior, followed by contribution-based engagement and the most active is creation-based engagement (Pentina et al., 2018).&nbsp;</li></ul>]]></description>
