It is a good series and I think you guys should check it out! ]]> 2020-05-28 00:37:39 UTC https://padlet.com/ferretfriend/Bookmarks/wish/598106331 andersk1 https://padlet.com/ferretfriend/Bookmarks/wish/599123366 I have been reading some classic Stephen King books that I missed over the years.  They seem like normal stories and then the creepiness sneaks in.  I started reading his books when I was in high school, so any kids have a few years to go.  SK likes to write long books, around 1,000 pages, so they can be intimidating to some people.  I like the longer books because if it is a good story, I don't want it to end.  I am looking forward to read a lot of good books over the summer.  Usually I read at night, but during the summer, I will read at a campsite or by the pool.

I wouldn't say I recommend these books for you, but here are two things I like about them: 1. I enjoy the challenge of trying to find messages in simple books. 2. I enjoy observing the elements that make books "high" or "low" level. It is about a boy who finds out he is a son of Posiden and also finds out he is being blamed about stealing something precious from Zeus, so he goes on a quest to find it.

Want to read a new horror series that's both somewhat scary but super fun? Well this author has four different series of books and all are awesome! One series is Cirque Du Freak, which is about a circus run by a Vampire. Another series is about a boy with a special family history and abilities, who with his Uncle and friends protects our world from nasty beasties. If Zombies are your thing then the ZomB series would be right up your alley. Any of the books you try from this author will entertain. Comment if you have read any of his books.
