The iconic "to be or not to be" is Hamlet's monologue in witch he is talking about suicide, he is compering death with a sleep, a sleep deep without dreams, saying "to die, to sleep no more" and "devoutly to be wish to die, to sleep. To sleep perchance to dream" Hamlet feels like he had enough of life, and all he wants is to die, to sleep. He gets even to the point where he asks himself what dreams may come in this sleep of death.

Macbeth is about manipulation and the power of a simple idea, even if it's not your own. Macbeth is the protagonist which one day meets three witches that told him that his destiny is to be king, and for that he has to kill Duncan, the current king. the idea that he has to be king was stuck so powerful in his head that one night, when the king visited them, Macbeth killed him. Macbeth didn't want to kill Duncan, but his wife convinced him to do it. He afterwords become king, but he was paranoid that someone may try to kill him too. All this drove him crazy, and he never escaped the shame and guilt of what he did, never being able to "wash the blood out of his hands"

Carla D : In my opinion, I like the play Hamlet because:Hamlet have many personal conflict . He wants revenge, but he is also scared of making the wrong decision. One scene that shows this is when Hamlet fights with Claudius because he wants revenge . This play is also interesting because it has a lot of action and is not just a simple story. I think the main message of the play is about how important our choices are. When Hamlet and Claudius fight, one of them gets poisoned and dies. This shows that in life, if you make the wrong choice, something bad can happen. At the same time, it’s also about love, and it shows that even in a world full of problems and betrayal, love still has a big role and gives us hope and meaning.

The main themes in Hamlet are revenge, betrayal, and death. In Hamlet, Shakespeare chooses melancholic themes. Revenge: One of the most important themes of the play is revenge. Hamlet is in inner turmoil because he must avenge his father's death, which was caused by his uncle Claudius, who took his place on the throne. Another important theme of the play is betrayal. Hamlet is betrayed by almost everyone around him, starting with his uncle Claudius, who takes his father’s place, to his mother Gertrude, who quickly remarries Claudius after the king’s death. Hamlet feels betrayed by these actions, and betrayal drives his actions and psychological problem. Death is a theme that appears at the beginning of Hamlet. The play starts with the death of King Hamlet, and the entire story is marked by the deaths of the most important person: Hamlet’s father, Ophelia, Polonius, Hamlet himself, and finally, Claudius. Hamlet questions is about the meaning of death and what happens after death. The “To be or not to be” is a perfect example of reflection on death.

Claudius is a fake character, he chose to betray by killing his own brother, and then behaved as if nothing had happened, and even marries his brother's wife. I also don't like about Claudius the fact that he lies to everyone, he uses other people to achieve his goals, he is a manipulative character. This character makes me think of that person who smiles at you in the face and stabs you in the back with a knife.

Another thing I like about Hamlet is the way he takes revenge on Claudius, I like how he chose to look crazy so that he could implement his plan, I like how he chose to organize a play in which he told how his father died, to figure out if the ghost he met lied or not. I like how Hamlet doesn't rush to take revenge, but wants to be sure he's doing the right thing. I also see Hamlet as a sad character, stuck in thought and tormented. He is sad because of his father's death, but he also has that desire for justice and revenge. What I don't like about Hamlet is the way he made Ophelia suffer because of her behavior.

One of the most interesting moments in the Hamlet story for me is the ghost appearance of Hamlet's father. It seems to me that it is not just a mysterious presence, but the moment where all the action began.

For me it's very interesting how the ghost, from the world of the dead, asks for revenge in the world of the living, and so the two worlds come into conflict. Also, the moment of the appearance of Hamlet's father makes me think and makes me wonder. Can you trust a ghost? Hamlet himself wonders if he is his father's ghost or an illusion. I find it interesting how the appearance of the ghost gives me a dark state, a thrill.

The way the truth came to light caught my attention, the ghost reveals Claudius' murder and asks Hamlet for revenge. Without this appearance, the story would not have unfolded in the tragic way we know.

The appearance of the ghost and the way it asks Hamlet to take revenge makes me wonder what I would have done in Hamlet's place, whether or not it is good to take revenge.

The ending of the Hamlet story for me is a dramatic, sad one, which leaves me a void. This ending ends that revenge, betrayal, but it does so in a way that leaves me with many questions. At the end of the story, most of the characters die, and that to me shows that revenge has completely gotten out of control, and the desire for justice has turned into a tragedy. It is no longer just a question of punishing evil, but of the appearance of victims who enter the fight for justice and truth.

Another thing that caught my attention is the way Hamlet manages to kill Claudius, but only after almost all his loved ones are destroyed, it's not like any other story that hero who saves the day and everyone is happy. It's a victory, but not one with a happy ending and it shows me that revenge does not bring reconciliation, but more suffering

Mi-a plăcut foarte mult faptul ca Hamlet a ales sa facă o piesă de teatru pentru a-și da seama dacă fantoma Mind or not, it seemed to me a wise choice, my opinion.

I also found it interesting that the events don't unfold like in any other story, where something bad happens or then a rescuer comes and saves everything and then everyone is happy.

I really liked that each character has a different personality, and the fight at the end caught my attention a lot and taught me a lesson. I've learned that revenge is not a solution, revenge only makes it worse

Something about this story that I haven't come across before is how the world of the dead conflicts with the world of the living, and in a way this story makes me think about how precious life is and how you can lose everything in a second.

Hamlet knew how to handle the situation, devising a plan to see if the ghost was lying or not about how Claudius killed his father, and he was not in a hurry to take revenge on Claudius. A sadder situation was when Ophelia committed suicide because of Hamlet because Hamlet treated her very badly and that her father was accidentally killed by Hamlet. The opera is full of adventure and teaches us that revenge is not a solution because it often brings a twist.

Four young people, blinded by love, get lost in a forest. There, fairies and magic potions turn things upside down, filling everything with laughter and surprises. At the same time, a group of notsogood actors tries to put on a play, while the king and queen of the fairies are having a terrible fight. Amid all these funny and strange events, the characters find true love and reconcile with each other, leaving a bittersweet feeling at the end, as if waking up from a dream full of fantasy.

My opinion is that "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a play that makes you think about how strange and funny life can be. I like that Shakespeare isn't afraid to show the crazy things we do when we're in love and how sometimes imagination can be more real than reality. I think it's a play that anyone can understand, regardless of their age, and it will always have something new to tell us. For me, this play is like a sweet dream. It reminds me of the times I played with my friends in the forest and we imagined we were fairies and elves.

I have chosen to watch a video that refers to the play “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare. It is an amazing piece which involves a story that dates back to the Danish medieval era. The protagonist is called Hamlet, and the story is set after his father’s death. As well as Hamlet, many characters are involved, such as his mother, his uncle, his girlfriend and others, and each of them has their own special effect on the play’s plot. Regarding the plot, fascinating changes happen out of the blue and its complexity proves the writer’s intelligence. Moreover, the play involves an important moral at the end, when Fortinbras, the Norwegian prince, takes over the rule of Denmark, after he has realized that the whole local royalty is dead. In this way, Shakespeare teaches that the nation’s unity, and especially its leadership’s unity, has a critical importance. A typical example is presented in the play, where another nation (Norway) takes advantage of the national instability (the death of the whole leadership of England) in order to rule the country. Overall, “Hamlet” is a great play that I would recommend with great pleasure.

Alexandros Chatzisavvidis, Β3 1ο Γυμνάσιο Ορεστιάδας

The narrative is centered around the themes of love and illusion while it reflects to the author's contemporary concerns about relationships and the social hierarchy. All in all , I recommend reading the masterpiece.

I decided to read Macbeth by William Shakespeare because I was intrigued by its reputation as one of the most powerful tragedies about ambition and human weakness. The play tells the story of Macbeth, a brave Scottish general who encounters a prophecy that he will become king. Encouraged by his ambitious wife, he murders King Duncan to take the throne. However, guilt and paranoia slowly consume him, leading to more violence and ultimately his downfall. Shakespeare’s use of dark imagery, supernatural elements, and deep psychological insight makes the play a haunting exploration of the corrupting nature of unchecked ambition. Overall, Macbeth is a gripping and thought-provoking tragedy that shows how power can destroy a person from within.

Basilis miliotis Β1 1ο γυμνάσιο Ορεστιάδας

In my opinion it is interesting because it shows how hard it is to deal with pain and difficult choices. The play makes us think about family and what is right or wrong. Even though it is an old story, its messages are still important today

I decided to write about Macbeth a very dramatic story that Shakespeare called the "Scottish play". The story is characterized by violence ,immaturity and Macbeth's selfishness. In my opinion Macbeth was initially a simple innocent man. However he was influenced by listening the words that the witches predicted to him, but also the words of his wife. So he killed the king and take the throne. At this point we see his big mistake, showing his thirst for kingship. Finally we see the difference where at the beginning Macbeth was an honest man ,but in the end his selfishness took over. He took the throne without deserving it but also blaming others for assassination of the king.
