I loved that it had so much humor and no matter how bad the situation was for Trevor, he would always make it funny.
3. I didn't like how it skipped around to different times in his life, because it was hard for me to keep up.

1.I read this book since it resembled as an action book which i'd preferably perused than some other type of genre.
2.I liked how this book was not quite the same as the other books I read, this one had more high paced scenes and in light of the fact that Noah has a similar age from me, I can relate with a considerable measure of things he says and does in the book.
7. This book influenced me to take a gander at other individuals' points of view, and influenced me to step and walk around in their shoes and it influenced me to understand that other individuals around the globe aren't as lucky to live under a rooftop and have sustenance to eat each day.

1. I chose to read Born a Crime because it seemed like a pretty interesting book.
2. I liked that the book was funny and had quite a bit of action.
3. I didn't like how some of the chapters seemed out of order, he would tell a story about when he was 16 and the next chapter he would tell a story of when he was 12.

1. I chose to read this book because Trevor Noah is my favorite comedian and I've been watching his shows for a while now but I didn't know he wrote a book.
2. I found the book to be really inspirational and brutally honest. I was crying through the last couple of chapters to be honest. I also really liked that he added in little bits of life advice based on his experiences.
3. I didn't really like the historical context he added in before the chapters. It is a really good idea and made his work stronger- I just don't like history and found it boring I guess.

I didn't like that the book would occasionally switch time periods unexpectedly. It sometimes made it hard to tell how old he was in a chapter.

1. I chose to read this book because I thought it would be interesting to read about Trevor Noah's life in South Africa.
2. I liked how the book had funny parts and how Noah told his stories.
3. One specific life lesson that I saw in the book is that you do not own the thing you love. Noah gave us an example on how he learned this life lesson I found it interesting.

2. I enjoyed how Trevor’s humor balanced his honesty. In some chapters, I’d find myself genuinely laughing and in others, I’d find myself thinking upon the advice he’d given. Seeing both the past and possible situations In which I could use the advice within my life.

4. To me, Trevor Noah had one specific message that stood out the most. The importance of a person gaining the ability to recognize his/her surroundings and do whatever is within their power to benefit themselves from their surroundings to learn from the situation and eventually get into a better one.

6. I think this book offers a realistic and honest view on how racism and stereotypes affect both the people of a stereotype and the people who view the stereotype as true. Much of contemporary society in my eyes, still doesn’t realize the effects of stereotyping and racism and when they themselves are apart of the problem.

1. I choose this book because I knew Trevor Noah and had seen some of him on TV so I was interested on what he wrote about.
2.Trevor's ability to look back on his past in good light and humor comes through clearly in his writing. Trevor knew when to be funny and when not be, just like his show and life. It gives us a real insight to where he came from.
3. One amazing thing about this book is how many messages and take aways you could have after reading it. One that stuck with me is when he talks about how we are defined by language and the barrier isn't skin it's communicate and that resonated with me because I've seen it.
