I had to reach out to people to collect photo submission and edit those photos using photo shop and I developed techniques in tracing those photos and adding the detail using shading and mark making. I used the light pad to trace them. Once I completed these I then developed an understanding of how to do matting and how to make the photos doubled sided. I had to research other installation projects as inspiration and I had to research how to trace and how to make my installation visually appealing without overdoing it. That even though with selfies and social media we often become self obsessed we should bring some focus onto those around us and what they do for us and what we can do for them and others. This is why I wanted people to send pictures of people that they find important to them and describe things about them.
