I think she is kind because she helped Karyn when she was homesick 😔🏡 and she is very nice throughout the book.

2. Hardworking
She is hardworking because she never gave up on Melody, even when Melody gave up on herself. She quizzed Melody on all kinds of facts for the WhizKids competition and didn’t stop. “I correctly answered that Tokyo was the capital of Japan, Ottawa the capital of Canada, Addis Abada the capital of Ethiopia, and Bogata the capital of Columbia. Mrs V quizzed me until dad came to pick me up” (Draper 162) This shows that Mrs. V is hardworking.
3. Outspoken
I say Mrs. V is outspoken because she doesn’t care what other people think of her.
