I’ve always known the internet and what we do was never truly anonymous or the most private, but to learn what I saw in the documentary worried me. It’s bad in the United States, but in the UK where even the thought of wanting to protest something that was paid via the citizen’s taxes is just a completely immoral and awful thing to do. And now that Article 13 & 11 was passed “banning memes” by the EU in the UK shows how little the government over there cares about their citizens. Giving information to websites and apps has made it too easy to find a person and its really risky, specially for minor now a days. Exchange of information can also damage your future life with college and even with the career of your desire. I definitely learn something about sharing my information on social media and apps. Its not the right thing to do when there is a world out there that can find out anything you have going on online. this lesson taught me to be more careful with the online media.
