They could try promoting ecotourism and other eco-friendly methods. They could start promoting eco-friendly cycle tours or walking tours, to reduce pollution, and also promote wild life sanctuaries. They could start workshops in busy hotels to make tourist aware of what’s happening.  All these small solutions can make Haiti’s economic world and natural world better.

I think there should be more flights connected to the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Haiti which can attract tourists from all around the world. I think they should also improve safety in the city by strengthening the rules and regulations which is a major concern of the tourists these days.

For people who do not want to be involved in ecological clubs during their stay and would just want to relax, Haiti could establish hotels that are not ecologically impactful yet comfortable, for example powering these hotels with renewanble energy. With the ecological ideologies and promotion of eco-friendliness around the world today, Haiti will also be helped financially.

Tourism is a tricky topic to defend either the economic or environmental perspective; which is why with ecotourism; it can sustain the right balance for both society and the ecosystem. We need to promote ecotourism especially for places like Haiti.
