         <title>If a crystal cools down fast then the crystal will be small because of the amount of particles changing at once becoming smaller. If a crystal cools down slow then the crystal will be large because the atoms in the crystal will have more time to form and therefore not break over time.</title>

If the crystals are bigger, then they took longer to form meaning the water will be hotter and vis versa. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think we are going to stimulate and investigate how the rate of cooling affects crystal size by testing different temperatures of water on crystals multiple times.&nbsp; Though we obviously cannot recreate the exact atmospheric conditions that a mineral would typically pass through, we could simulate it with that.&nbsp; We know that crystals form larger when cooled slowly, while smaller when cooled at a faster rate.&nbsp; We could see how multiple simulated atmospheric-conditions affect this.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>If the crystal is cooled at a slower rate, then the crystal will be larger than a crystal cooled at a faster rate because a crystal larger in sides needs more time to become bigger. In the classroom we could use different temperature of water. This would create different size crystals because the crystal in the hot water would take a longer amount of time to cool down.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We are likely going to grow crystals, but when growing them we will grow them at different temperatures. From this we can measure the time it takes a crystal to grow from the different temperatures in which we let the crystals cool. The bigger crystals will be the ones that took longer to grow, while the smaller ones will grow faster.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The effects that cooling has on the size of a crystal is that if the crystal cools faster, then the crystal/s will become smaller. If the crystal takes a long amount of time to cool, then the crystal will become larger. This is becuase the crystal has mroe time to stay in a more natural, built-up form. To simulate and investigate this, I think that we will use a crystal solution that is meant to be made and cooled manually. We may time different crystals as they cool and put the crystals in water to cause it to cool faster.</div>]]></description>

On the other hand, if a crystal cools quickly, there would be smaller crystals because they have less time to form. We can stimulate this investigation by puting one crystal in cool water and one in a warm condition, by not puting it in water. </div>]]></description>
