chpt 13: Charles sees the boys running by the library and he sees the carnival and he does not know if he should go or not.
chpt 14: Will heard Charles talk to himself about 3:00 o'clock. 
chpt 15: Will and Jim go to the carnival and see Mrs. Foley who goes to the mirror maze even though Will told her not too, she panicked and told them that she saw a little girl that needs help in there and ended up going home.
chpt 16: Will finds Jim in the mirror maze ( the mirror maze makes people see things that aren't there.) and pulls him out Jim start muttering and suggests that they should go later in the night back to the mirror maze, on the way home home they find the salesman's bag.
chpt 17: the boys start wondering why he left his bag there and try to find/solve the mystery.
