A memoir is a kind of autobiography involving a public portion of the author’s life as it relates to a person, historic event. The text is about the personal knowledge and experiences of the author. There's also a thing called an auto biography. an autobiography covers the author’s entire life to the present, and is written by the person in the story for example, Albert Einsteins auto biography is by Albert Einstein. But a biography is someone’s life story written by another person.
