As the year went on I started to actually enjoy the class instead of just looking at it as a credit. I am not a very creative person but this class sort of pushed me to be creative with my photos. The class is very laid back so it is also a fun relaxing class period when you have a lot of work to do in other classes. One of the other highlights of this class is that it encourages cooperation. A lot of these projects were group projects so it was fun to create with other people in the class. It was fun to show my interests and and try to describe myself using only pictures. It made for a really fun challenge in a sense that it made you have to think really deeply about how you can portray yourself and your life in a creative way. It did a good job of showing that there is much more to photography that setting and positioning. This project showed us how to play with lighting and facial expression, as well as photo angle. The focus was reliving older times where photo quality and cameras weren't where they are today. When we edited these photos, our focus was to make them look old and to add the white box around the photo like you would see in a real photo taken by a polaroid camera. There were several different options for photos that you could take. This means that more than likely there will be a photography style that you take interest in above the other options.
