* Mint coins - they would make coins into currency .
* Borrow money -they would borrow as much money as they needed .
* Limited government - no one had more power than the other . As well as the states couldn't refuse requests .
* Congress could settle conflicts among the states -there wouldn't be as much fighting/arguing then there needed to be . Also
* Make treaties with other countries and with Native Americans - have many/other countries on their good side .
* First written constitution - fit their problems more and help them in ways it wouldn't with others .

 * The government did not have a president or a national court system-their government was weak and their military was weak as well . They could have worked harder on making both things stronger .
* States could refuse requests from congress-they didn't have to do what the government asked them to do . They could have worked harder on , as well as putting in new laws and or limiting the power of the states .
* Congress had no power to levy or collect taxes-the government was always short of money .
* Approval of nine states was needed to enact laws-it was difficult to enact laws .

The Articles of Confederation failed because , first the government was way to weak . Also the congress didn't even have a good , full strong army to fight back . When the other countries that would secondly refuse request from congress if they didn't want to do them . Congress couldn't ask the other countries for men to fight because they would just refuse the request . This made them see how weak their government was . As well as seeing that the countries were over powered and more on their own .
