This is important to me because having the courage to asks questions is always the first step in success as I learned.
Responsibility- Responsibility is something I value because having the ability to be responsible means you're trustworthy and dependable. Responsibility is important to me because it shows I am someone you can count on and can also be reliable.
Dedication- Dedication is something I value because it shows sheer determination and how bad you want to accomplish a goal or endeavor.
3.3.22 Toxic Masculinity in my Family

I do not see really toxic masculinity inside my family, I would say I see more chivalry. I say this because it is just me and my mom and she has only taught me chivalry things and to be the man of the house. The patriarchy in my family is my mother as she is the only adult in the household. I do not have siblings but toxic masculinity between my friends is seen, but it is more of a jokingly Manner and again we show more chivalry than toxic masculinity. The patriarchy in the friend group is even as we all have a say and ask each other for opinions. I do not have significant other but I have a lot of cousins and again some show toxic masculinity and perhaps it is because they are uneducated in the matter. While some of us do recognize toxic masculinity and joke around but again we all show more chivalry than toxic masculinity. The patriarchy between our cousins is the oldest in the group who is suppose to be the wisest and more experienced while once in a while the young ones take lead and make plans as well

Pick one of the 6 leaders of Success Stories and explain how did buying into toxic masculinity and patriarchy lead them into a path towards prison?

I chose Benjamin from the 6 leaders of success stories. Buying into toxic masculinity may have paved the pathway for Benjamin towards prison as he turned to violence and drugs as a way to fit in society. Benjamin only fended for himself without the help of others and this may have also led him to prison. Patriarchy may have led him to prison as having to be superior above others was a way to fend himself and he may have used violence to get this feeling of superiority.

3.3.22 How I practice "toxic masculinity" and "patriarchy".

I don't practice toxic masculinity for the most part I'd say, instead I mostly would call my actions more chivalry, but toxic masculinity may be seen in my life when I wouldn't like my significant other to do the same chivalry such as opening the door for me or bringing me flowers. This is something I can fix although it may be difficult as society may see it as weird and not masculine. I practice patriarchy in my life as my mom is the leader but I do more of the manly things I'd say like carrying the 5 gallon jugs to the house, fixing things in the house, and well doing more manly things in the house. this may be though because of my physical capacity though.
