The lecture sociologically focuses on the social construction of gender identities and racial groups and reflects on how these come to shape lives and identities in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. We explore the impact of colonialism on gender and race relations, as well as new decolonial ways of thinking about societies and lives in the Global South in relation to the Global North&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
