In garment production, the most common problem of the worker is the monotony while working.

2.     How long has the problem happened?

Usually, workers do the same tasks every day. Many operations are simple and repetitive. Therefore, workers encountered that problem every day.

3.     What causes the problem?

While this practice makes workers experts in their tasks and improves productivity, it also creates monotony. Monotony can cause burden and fatigue. The result is reducing the efficiency of working and creating a negative working attitude

We should tell the manager on this issue to find effective solutions.

5.     What are some possible solutions?

The possible solution is to defeat monotony to keep workers alert and productive. Some simple steps to defeat monotony include:

Firstly, we can rotate workers to different workstations.

Secondly, we need to allow frequent short breaks. Jobs which are repetitive or demand close attention to quality will be done much more productively with frequent short breaks.

Finally, we also have to ensure work-in-progress is under control

Firstly, let’s focus on the lapel. Spec sheet has leather piping to cover the lapel, but actual sample doesn’t have. I think we should add leather piping to the actual sample

Besides, it seems that the design and shape of the lapel in actual sample is different from one in spec sheet, so we need to remake it.

Button

Secondly, I see that specs requires 6 buttons, but there are only 4 buttons in the sample. So, I recommend adding 2 more buttons as required of the spec sheet in the actual sample.

Color

Next, look at the color: the actual sample used scarlet instead of crimson. I believe the pattern maker has to work with the supplier to place a new color of the right color.

Label

Following this, it seems that spec sheet has label but the sample doesn’t have. It might be a good idea to add label as required of the spec sheet in the specs.

Sleeve length

Move on to the next point, as I see, the sleeve length in the actual sample is 27 inches, but in spec sheet, it’s about 25 inches. In my opinion, we should take off the sleeve in actual sample 2 inches shorter.

Waistline

In the spec sheet, the waistline is 33 inches, but it only has 27 inches in the sample. Therefore, we need to let it out 6 inches.

Shoulder

Last but not least, the shoulder in the spec sheet is 20 inches, but in the actual sample, it is 24 inches. I suggest that we should take it off 4 inches as required of the specs.

That’s all my opinion about the actual sample. I just hope that after repairing, the actual sample may be the same as the spec sheet as possible.

Good morning, sir. Now I will report to you the delivery performance record. The aim of this record is to access the performance of the enterprise in meeting its delivery schedule.

Firstly, the form number of the record is 004. The time period is from April 2^nd, 2022 to April 25^th, 2022 and the record processed by administrative personnel. Next, the date of starting the delivery contract is April 2^nd, 2022. The number of the purchase order from the contractor is 3. Good morning, sir. Now I will report to you the accident record. The aim of this record is to inform the incident occurred. The form number of this record is 005. The period is filled by the period of time when the accident happened until it was solved. The record processed by administrative personnel.

Firstly, the day the incident occurred is April 21^st, 2022. The name of injured employee is Ngo Thanh Trang. She has fracture of finger because she was pierced by the needle through her finger while sewing. When she met the accident, colleagues helped her turn off the sewing machine, first aid wounds and call medical staff. Then she was taken to the hospital for careful medical examination. After this accident, I think we should guide workers to use sewing machines more carefully to avoid serious accidents again.

In conclusion, I have talked about the accident record and the purpose is to help the manager know the cause of the accident and have solutions to ensure workers’ safety.

Record 4: preventive maintenance record

Good afternoon, sir. Now I will report to you the preventive maintenance record. The aim of this record is to inform the maintenance. The form number is 006. The period is from maintenance start time to maintenance end time and it processed by maintenance personnel.

Firstly, the maintenance day is April 21^st, 2022. The maintenance machine number is 001. The time breakdown reported is 2 hour and the time maintenance work started is 7 o’clock am. The time machine resumed operation is 9 o’clock am and the machine downtime is 1 and half an hour. The cause of this breakdown is due to the screws missing.

Topic: report the data and information of a garment factory

Garco 10 is one of the leading enterprises in the garment industry in VN. According to the survey data, they have 18 factories with 9000 workers. The production capacity annually of this enterprise is 21 million pieces.

Firstly, as can be seen from the pie chart, the US contribute the largest percentage – 52% to Garco 10’s trade partners. Followed by others with 18% and EU with 13%. Japan has share of 10% of Garco 10’s trade partners and Hong Kong account for a very small amount of the trade partners, it is 7%.

Move on to the annual growth chart. In general, the annual growth rate of the Garco 10 has increased gradually from 2016 to 2018. It has increased from 4% in 2016 to 6% in 2017 and 8% in 2018.

I’m preparing for a job interview. I will participate in an interview at the Garco 10 company for the position of fashion designer. This company is one of the leading enterprises in the garment industry in Vietnam. To be pass the interview, I have listed five important tips below:

The first tip is that I always need to be well rested. I need to be alert when I’m in the room, so that I’m able to give clear and concise answers and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

Move on to the second tip: dressing for the job. Dressing as I would at the job I’m interviewing for will help the interviewer envision me in the role already, which can help me get the job.

Next, my third job preparation technique is to clear up my online presence like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I have to make sure that I don’t have any incriminating photos or bad language written on my walls.

Following this, the fourth tip is to figure out where I’m going, how long it is going to take and the transportation options available. I definitely don’t want to be late. It’s always good to give myself about 30 minutes of extra time.

And my final tip is the most important one. I need to practice. It’s important to prepare and practice examples of interview questions and tailor my answers with the qualities, the strengths and abilities that the company I’m interview with values.
